DID YOU KNOW:  The course, part of which butts up against the Manatee County Golf Course, was once an 18-hole layout called Santa Rosa.  It's owner "Phil Galvano" was known as the first Golf Coach to the Stars.  The biggest celebrities of the day, including Bob Hope, Jackie Gleason, Tony Bennett, Milton Berle, Carol Burnett, Johnny Carson, all came to Bradenton in the 1970s to hang with Phil Galvano. 

Over the years Santa Rosa was shorted to its present size and renamed Timber Creek in the late 1970's.  The course is owned and operated by the members of its condominium association
